The Black Book Race Forum is delighted to announce that Matthew Carter, chief executive of the Lotus F1 Team, and Pau Serracanta, managing director of MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports S.L, will be speaking at the second edition of the Black Book Race Forum this year.
They will be joined by Patrick Allen, the managing director of Silverstone Circuits, Razlan Razali, chief executive of Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit, and by Matthew Strachan, head of sales at Sahara Force India.
Rounding out the first tranche of confirmed speakers are Oliver Ciesla, managing director of WRC Promoter, and Michael M. Schmidt, marketing director and executive board member of Sauber Motorsport AG.
The event will be held on 30th June at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), right at the heart of the historic City of London.
Carter, Serracanta, Allen, Razali, Strachan, Ciesla, and Schmidt will be joined by a host of industry leaders on the eve of British Grand Prix weekend to discuss the state of play in the global motorsport industry, offering their insights on what’s being done well, and what needs doing better.
Nick Meacham, managing director of SportsPro, the company behind the Black Book, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to announce our first set of speakers for this year’s Black Book Race Forum. They are all senior leaders from a broad range of motorsport institutions, and they bring with them an immense amount of experience and knowledge.”
Meacham added: “We’re particularly pleased and grateful to be able to welcome Patrick Allen to the event this year, as he prepares to preside over his first Formula One race as managing director of Silverstone Circuits in the days following the forum.”
