About Race Week London

Add Race Week to your motor sports calendar, a garden party of F1 cars and all things fast, rev up to attend London’s entertainment epicentre during the British Grand Prix. On Tuesday 30th June the grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company will feature all the glamour of Formula 1 as cars,  stars of F1 celebrate on the six acre site.

F1 cars are the star attraction. Get up close and personal like you’ve never been able to before. Test your skills on the F1 simulators used by the teams and compare your times to the ones set by professional drivers. Some of your favourite drivers from both past and present will be at Race Week London, partaking in a variety of public question and answer sessions as well as meet and greet opportunities.

Visit a display of some of the world’s rarest F1 cars in the largest Grand Prix Concourse ever assembled. Last year rare classics on display included Ayrton Senna’s 1984 Toleman and the Benetton Michael Schumacher drove in 1992 at his debut victory at Spa. Finish your day off with a lap through the luxury shopping villages.

Dress code for the day is formal garden party, or work attire.

Race Week is also hosting the famous Grand Prix Ball. This red-carpet event will host the stars of F1 for a gala dinner prior to the race in support of the Prince’s Trust. A signature live F1 demonstration will take your break away and set guests up to be wined and dined in stunning surroundings. Mix and mingle with the star-studded celebrity guest list for a champagne reception and three-course dinner and be entertained by top artists and DJs.

Driver Meet and Greets

Some of your favourite drivers from both past and present will be at Race Week London, partaking in a variety of public Question and Answer sessions as well as meet and greet opportunities.

Drivers Cricket Match

We’re bringing back the old tradition of the Driver’s Cricket Match ahead of the British Grand Prix. The match last played in 1974 and featured world champions James Hunt and Jody Scheckter. This year the Lord Tavern’s will be fielding a celebrity team against the Sound Edwards Foundation team of drivers both current and former.

Luxury Shopping Village

During RaceWeek all ticket holders have the opportunity to visit our Luxury Shopping Village, located on the eastern side of the Honourable Artillery Club’s grounds. With over luxury brands set to showcase their products, there is something to suit every taste and budget.

Grand Prix Ball

Expect this glamorous black tie affair to kick off with a bang! You’ll be wined, dined and entertained in stunning surroundings alongside our star-studded celebrity guest list.  The Champagne Reception and 3 Course Dinner are followed with live performances by top artists and DJs as we prepare for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

We are very excited to be presenting a modern and classic collection of Formula 1 cars from every decade of racing. Black Book Race Forum
